Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounts, including monthly bank reconciliations, entry preparation, and monthly book closing.
- Perform general cost accounting, track Work in Process (WIP), and maintain accurate balance sheet schedules.
- Oversee accounts payable invoice verification and processing, while managing accounts receivable collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and support external auditors during annual reviews.
- Prepare and file local tax forms (e.g., Sales and Use Tax), annual 1099s, and assist corporate accountants with partner tax filings.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Prior experience with Ajera accounting and project management software.
- Direct exposure to project-based or cost-accounting environments, specifically tracking Work in Process (WIP).
- Track record of assisting with external financial audits and local tax filings.

Bachelors

Qualifications:
- Associate???s degree in Accounting or a related financial field, paired with a minimum of three years of professional accounting experience.
- Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), general financial accounting, and cost accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills alongside exceptional organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
