🔍 Responsibilities
- Analyze the current legacy database structure and application logic to build an accurate mapping of objects and entities.
- Migrate data and schema from MySQL to MSSQL, considering system-specific features and differences.
- Optimize database structure and queries to improve performance and scalability.
- Refactor and “clean up” existing database code, eliminating outdated or poorly structured logic.
- Ensure usability improvements for handling larger volumes of client data.
- Provide ongoing support, consultation, and propose technical improvements.
- Document key processes and changes.
- Strong expertise in MySQL and MSSQL, including hands-on experience with data migration between these systems.
- Ability to work with legacy projects and poorly structured code.
- Skills in query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Proactive mindset: ability not only to complete assigned tasks but also to independently identify and solve problems.
- Broad technical background and willingness to provide consultative support.
- Availability within CIS time zones for effective collaboration.
- Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
