HR Generalist

Location:

Two days per week in Commerce City, CO

Three days per week in Fort Lupton, CO

Overall Goal

The HR Generalist will support day to day Human Resources operations while learning core HR processes in a fast paced environment. This role is ideal for someone beginning their HR career who is eager to grow, contribute, and gain hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the fullcycle recruiting process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Maintain HR files and documentation in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
• Provide general HR administrative support including preparing letters, updating spreadsheets, and assisting with HR projects.
• Help respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
• Support HR Manager with employee engagement activities, trainings, and internal communications.
• Track and report HR metrics as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience in customer service or administrative support.
• Familiarity with HR concepts or coursework.
