Overview of Role

A global leader in mobile advertising is looking for a technically fluent, highly client-facing Solutions Architect to own the technical relationship with a critical enterprise account.

The role has evolved significantly from a traditional architecture/build position. The ideal person is not a hands-on engineer but someone who can understand backend technologies, investigate technical issues, work through API/SDK challenges, and confidently advise senior clients.

You'll operate more like a Senior Solutions Consultant / Technical Consultant, partnering with enterprise customers to solve problems, support integrations, influence product roadmaps, and translate technical issues into clear business outcomes.

Team & Pod Structure

You'll join a dedicated Key Account Pod supporting one of the company's most important enterprise relationships. The team includes a business lead, Account Manager, Director, and you as the technical/client-facing lead, with direct exposure to senior leadership and global Product/Engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategic Client Advisory: Own the technical relationship with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor across product, technology, integrations, and technical strategy.
• Technical Consulting & Pre-Sales: Understand client requirements, explain technical capabilities, support solution design, and help move opportunities and initiatives forward commercially.
• API/SDK Troubleshooting: Investigate API, SDK, backend, and data issues with customers; diagnose problems, coordinate internally, and drive issues through to resolution.
• Data-Driven Consultancy: Use SQL, CTEs, joins and data visualization to investigate trends, identify root causes, and turn data into clear recommendations tied to client KPIs.
• Roadmap & Product Partnership: Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements and work with Product/Engineering teams to influence solutions and roadmap priorities.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the voice of the customer internally while coordinating across Product, Engineering, Sales and Account Management.

Job Requirements

• Client-facing experience: 5 years in a technical consulting, Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, Technical Product, or similar role.
• Consultative mindset: Strong pre-sales, consulting and customer-facing experience; comfortable working with senior business, product and engineering stakeholders.
• Technical fluency: Able to understand and confidently discuss backend workflows, APIs, SDKs and languages such as Python or Java without needing to be a hands-on developer.
• SQL: Strong practical SQL skills, particularly CTEs, joins, aggregations and complex data investigation.
• Problem-solving: Comfortable investigating ambiguous technical/data issues, performing root-cause analysis, and turning complex problems into straightforward client solutions.
• Industry: Experience in SaaS, application products, retail technology or AdTech is valuable, but AdTech is not required.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into clear, commercially relevant recommendations for customers.
• What the hiring team is really looking for:
• Less: Deep engineering, building systems, writing production code, traditional architecture.
• More: Client-facing consulting pre-sales SQL technical fluency API/SDK troubleshooting business communication.
