What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Operator - CLEANING position at SPG LASER LIGHT TECHNOLOGIES LLC?
KEY RESPONSIB ILITIES:
Overall Facility Cleaning, including but not limited to:
- Maintenance/Care of floors: sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Dust removal from surfaces of equipment, enclosures, walls, frames, etc.
- Trash removal
- Cleaning & Stocking of restrooms
- Cleaning light fixtures
- Cleaning inside laser enclosures
- Wiping down walls as needed
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning frequency is according to documented cleaning schedules.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures
Areas to be cleaned include:
- Offices
- Stairwells
- Machining areas
- Public areas
- Break areas
- Restrooms
- Storage areas
- Outside grounds pickup as required
- AP Building
- Plus any new areas assigned as facility evolves and grows.
Maintain paperwork/logs associated with cleaning:
- Cleanroom Maintenance log
- Cleaning Checklists
- POR’s for cleaning supplies as needed.
Keeps machines & work areas clean at all time
Follow all procedures and work instructions pertaining to job
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Requires personal characteristics that maintain a positive work atmosphere through interactions with customers, managers, and co-workers
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and make evidence-based decisions
- Ability to enter data into a computer
- Ability to compute figures, type well, and transcribe
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works under general supervision.
- In office environment and on the manufacturing plant floor
- Working with cleaning chemicals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to go up and down stairs and ladders.
