Job Overview:
As a Logistics Operator you will manage destination operations for imports into the U.S. and Canada, ensuring shipments arrive safely and on schedule. You will coordinate end-to-end logistics with carriers, freight forwarders, and delivery partners, as well as manage warehouse handoffs. You will work closely with the China office to track shipments and oversee inland transportation across North America and Canada.
You will proactively resolve any issues that arise during the import process to maintain smooth operations. Daily tasks include monitoring shipment status, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with import regulations. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient delivery of imported goods. Performance will be measured through key indicators such as on-time delivery rates, accuracy of documentation, and successful issue resolution.
Background Profile:
- 2 years of experience in U.S. import logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of destination customs procedures, carrier coordination, and warehouse management.
- Fluent in Mandarin is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
