Position Overview:
We’re expanding our lending operations and seeking a motivated Loan Servicer to join our closing team. This role is central to our lending process — ensuring all post-closing requirements are being met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing borrowers, attorneys, and title companies.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers after loan funding.
- Monitor payment activity, maturity dates, extension deadlines, loan performance, and portfolio aging.
- Contact borrowers regarding late payments, maturity dates, defaults, and other servicing matters.
- Monitor delinquent loans and initiate collection efforts in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and issue late notices, default notices, demand letters, and other servicing correspondence.
- Coordinate loan extensions, extension fee collection, modifications, and maturity reviews in accordance with company policies.
- Manage and process borrower draw requests for rehab loans, verifying required documentation, reviewing and approving requests to release rehab funds.
- Prepare payoff quotes, oversee the payoff pipeline, and track payoff activity.
- Manage closed loan files by ensuring all post-closing documents, such as, executed loan documents, mortgage assignments, loan policies and mortgage satisfaction pieces are received, uploaded and properly filed.
- Assist with servicing process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in lending, title, or real estate transactions preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning new systems quickly.
