We are looking for a highly skilled loan partner to join our top-producing team and work alongside our loan officers. Compensation:
$120,000 at plan earnings with $40,000 base
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items
- Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service
- Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc.
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
- Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator
- Responsible for meeting and connecting with clients on a daily basis to help them qualify for financing the purchase of a home.
- Powered by one of the most robust CRM's in the real estate industry.
- Have the ability to work closely with prospective clients and then hand it off to your assistant for gathering documentation to process the loan.
- Direct access to underwriting to help clients get approved for financing.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
- Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred
- Preferably 5 years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position
- MUST have your NMLS license.
