Position Overview
We’re expanding our lending operations and seeking a motivated Loan Processor to join our team. This role is central to our lending process — ensuring loans move from commitment to closing quickly, accurately, and professionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing borrowers, title companies, and lenders.
Responsibilities
- Manage loan files from commitment through closing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, title companies, and lenders throughout the closing process.
- Work directly with borrowers to gather and verify all lender requirements in a timely manner, including title, insurance, entity documents, bank statements, tax returns, etc.
- Order and track appraisals
- Communicate underwriting conditions clearly with borrowers
- Coordinate closings with title and lender closing departments
- Track key milestones and proactively manage closing timelines to ensure smooth, on-time settlements.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before closing; make informed decisions to keep deals on track.
- Uphold SPG Capital’s high standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and execution in every transaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in lending, title, or real estate transactions preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) lending preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple active deals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and the capability of learning new systems quickly.
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
