About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Accountant to join our growing Finance organization in Dunwoody, GA.
This role reports to the Financial Controller and will play a key role in supporting technical accounting, audit readiness, accounting governance, tax compliance, month-end close, and financial operations across a multi-entity environment.

What You'll Do
- Support technical accounting research and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Assist with revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
- Evaluate accounting implications of customer contracts, vendor agreements, and business initiatives.
- Prepare audit-ready reconciliations, schedules, journal entry support, and other documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to support audit readiness and compliance.
- Manage and support sales tax compliance activities, filings, reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and support cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, CapEx governance, and domestic and international accounting operations.
- Partner with FP&A, FinOps, Payroll, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve financial visibility, accounting processes, controls, and scalability.
- Support ERP optimization, system implementations, automation projects, contract reviews, ad hoc analyses, and special projects assigned by Finance leadership.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience supporting month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit activities.
- Ability to research accounting guidance and clearly document conclusions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues through resolution.
Nice to Have
- CPA or active progress toward CPA certification.
- Experience in SaaS, software, technology, or high-growth environments.
- Experience supporting multi-entity accounting environments.
- Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience with sales tax compliance and reporting.
- Experience supporting external audits and financial due diligence.
- Familiarity with IRC Section 174 requirements.
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP platforms.
- Strong process improvement and automation mindset.
