We are seeking a driven and technically strong Professional Services Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of MTech’s cloud-based solutions.
This role sits within the Professional Services team and is responsible for designing and delivering custom reporting, integrations, and analytics solutions that align with customer business processes. You will work directly with clients across a variety of functions—from executive stakeholders to operational teams—to ensure MTech’s platform integrates seamlessly with their systems and workflows.

About The Role
We are seeking a driven and technically strong Professional Services Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of MTech’s cloud-based solutions.
This role sits within the Professional Services team and is responsible for designing and delivering custom reporting, integrations, and analytics solutions that align with customer business processes. You will work directly with clients across a variety of functions—from executive stakeholders to operational teams—to ensure MTech’s platform integrates seamlessly with their systems and workflows.
What You’ll Do
Client Engagement & Discovery
- Partner directly with MTech customers to understand business processes, workflows, and system requirements
- Lead discovery and blueprint sessions to define solution scope
- Produce technical documentation such as data mappings, interface specifications, and report definitions
- Ensure adherence to internal project and governance standards
- Communicate clearly with clients across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Design and develop custom reports and analytics outputs based on client requirements
- Define reporting structures including metrics, views, and data classes
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues or defects
- Support testing, validation, and go-live activities
- Provide post-go-live support (hypercare) for continuous improvement
- Design and implement integrations between MTech applications and external customer systems (e.g., ERP platforms)
- Define integration architecture, data schemas, and exchange methods
- Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions
- Train and support internal teams and customers on integration usage
- Deliver training to clients and internal teams on reporting and integration tools
- Guide customers on leveraging MTech’s data model and database structure
- Collaborate cross-functionally with deployment and project teams to ensure alignment on solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience querying and working with data using SQL
- 5 years of experience with at least one programming language
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in agriculture, animal protein, or supply chain industries
- Experience working with ERP systems or enterprise integrations
- Exposure to analytics or business intelligence tools
- Proactively identify and solve complex client problems
- Operate with strong ownership and accountability
- Communicate clearly and consistently across stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively within a distributed, global team
- Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset in ambiguous environments
