About The Role
As a Pesticide Operator, you'll play a key role in diagnosing and treating plant health issues through the targeted application of herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. This full-time position offers year-round work.
Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial landscapes
- Identify common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in turf, trees, and ornamentals
- Calibrate, mix, and apply treatments in accordance with label requirements and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate application records
- Operate and maintain spray equipment and company vehicles
- Provide winter support through snow and ice management operations
- Professional Applicator License required
- Working knowledge of local pest and disease issues affecting turf, trees, and shrubs
- Ability to safely mix and apply chemical treatments
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and safety procedures
- Willingness to work full-time, including winter months
- Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality service
