The Project Manager II would manage the installation and maintenance/repairs of EV charging stations.
Essential Functions
• Manages initial new or evolving Regulatory customer service products and offerings including general oversight of contractors. Designs and develops program content, policy, and procedures where appropriate. Ensures that all information and operational processes are in accordance with Company rules, regulations, policies, and goals, aligned with corporate strategy and direction, and maintains/enhances positive client/company relationships.
• Administers the budget, establishes the schedule and verifies adherence to procedures for assigned Regulatory Program(s).
• Manages the customer experience for each inquiry related to Regulatory Programs through on-site visits, telephone, written correspondence, and customer meetings as necessary. Purpose is to maintain existing customers (retention), increase customer competitiveness and monitor customer’s needs requiring LG&E and KU support.
• Works with Corporate Communications and other departments to provide and expand tools for customers related to Regulatory Programs such as corporate website resources for customers. Proactively gathers information about Regulatory Programs and works with corporate communications to formulate the information into succinct educational and guidance materials that can be shared with customers and employees.
• Maintains expertise in electric vehicle charging stations, distributed generation, renewables, storage, their application and costs to provide advice, consultation and education to customers. Serves as a trusted energy advisor for the customer, providing strategic guidance, facilitation and communication on a continuous basis. This requires an understanding of the customer’s unique objectives related to electric vehicle charging stations, distributed generation, alternative energy sources or sustainability objectives. Educates customers on risks, financial criteria, current and future costs, reliability, and other related information that assists the customer in their energy decisions.
• Develops and maintains a broad understanding of other energy solutions and is capable of engaging other internal and external resources to manage special projects, whether they are related to renewables and/or distributed generation, and electric vehicle applications. Coordinates the involvement of Company’s personnel, including support, service and management of personnel in order to meet customer and company expectations.
• Assists in strategic efforts to focus departmental resources on cost effective programs.
• Manages customer service processes related to SQF, EV, including assuring proper metering is installed, proper rates are billed, and data is provided to appropriate company areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards.
