About Our Client:
Our client is fast-growing, mission-driven renewable energy company committed to accelerating the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. They are looking to strengthen the finance team with a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager who will get involved with accounting and FP&A.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, consolidations, and reporting for multiple business units.
- Oversee core accounting operations including general ledger management, cash flow oversight, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, and internal controls compliance.
- Manage preparation of internal and external financial reports, including board packages, investor/lender reporting, variance analyses, and management dashboards.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles; partner with department leaders to drive financial performance, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Own audit coordination with external auditors and ensure adherence to accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency across accounting and FP&A functions.
- Supervise and develop accounting and finance staff, fostering a high-performance team environment with strong operational discipline and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Big Four or top-tier public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based environment a strong plus
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including technical accounting and reporting
- Excellent Excel and financial system skills (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar ERP)
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
