Learn more about Spencer Hospital: spencerhospital.org Responsibilities: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients Requirements: Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems IA RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply Schedule: 72 hours a pay period Straight nights - self scheduling 12 hour shifts 6:30p-7a The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department Sign-On: $10,000 sign-on paid out over 2 years $5,000 additional sign-on for straight nights paid out over 2 years Bonuses may be contingent on your status, position, and active employment with Spencer Hospital At Avera, the way you are treated as an employee translates into the compassionate care you deliver to patients and team members.
