Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Responsibilities: Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for post-operative and acute care patients requiring hospitalization Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients Requirements: Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems IA RN license or compact state BLS and ACLS - inhouse certification available upon hire New grads encouraged to apply - Nurse Residency Program upon hire! Schedule: 72 hours a pay period. 12 hour shifts. Day/Night. Holidays.
