Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital. Join our Home Health & Hospice team to provide care for local residents. This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends. Will need to drive personal vehicle and will receive mileage reimbursement. Responsibilities: Participates in the delivery of patient care services by providing direct and indirect care under the supervision of licensed personnel. Provides for the personal needs of the patient according to the established Plan of Care May also light housekeeping duties such as laundry, sweeping, emptying garbage, vacuum, wash dishes, mop floor, etc. Monitors patient’s physical & mental condition and provides for the ongoing physical needs of the client. Requirements: Successful completion of a 75-hour CNA course Flexible, multitasker, demonstrates effective communication and assessment skills BLS required or willing to obtain (In-house education provided) Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required Schedule: 48 hours per 2 weeks schedule (Part-time benefit eligible) 8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the department Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!
