What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Recording Clerk position at Spencer Gray?
The Post-Closing Recording Specialist is responsible for submitting the recordable mortgage documents to the individual recording jurisdictions and counties for recording. This will be done via an electronic platform or through a vendor. The recording specialist is responsible for ensuring that the recordable documents are fully executed and notarized properly. They will prepare any state-required forms and/or review forms for completeness and accuracy. Recorder will update the system of record on progress of recording as well enter recording information, upload copies of recorded documents, and prepare recorded documents for shipment back to the clients. The recording specialist may also interact with clients to provide data and or to resolve recording issues.
Required:
· 5 plus years of recording and recording resolution experience required
· multistate recording experience
