What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Machine Operator position at Speedy Metals?
We are looking for a hardworking, mechanically inclined individual to work as a production saw operator. A Saw Operator your job responsibilities will include but not be limited to; operator forklift to retrieve material from rack, place material on the saw table, program saw to cut material down to customer specifications, use caliper and tape measure to ensure material is being cut to the correct specifications, change saw blades as needed, put material back into racks clean work area, and other various warehouse related tasks

To be considered for employment, candidates need the following; -General warehouse experience -Forklift experience -Able to lift 50 to 75#'s -Accurately measure using a tape measure, and ability to convert fractions to decimals (There is a written test you must pass)
Previous experience operating a bandsaw or similar type equipment is preferred -Experience with metal grades, and recognition preferred
