What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Maintenance Technician position at Speedy Clean Drain and Sewer?
Job Summary:
The Shop Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for upkeeping tasks such as repairs and cleaning. Primarily responsible for building systems and ensures facilities are tidy and functional.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Maintain grounds, including yard upkeep, mowing law, collect trash.
· Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
· Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
· Stock and inventory shop supplies
· Perform minor fixes on equipment
· Responsible for maintaining equipment and keeping clean inside and out
· Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties
· Report faulty operations, defective material and unusual situations to proper supervision
· Assist service technicians on jobsites when needed
· Assist with customer grease trap pumping and cleaning
· Deliver equipment to work site when needed
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to safely climb ladders
· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
· Responsible for following company policies
Requirements: Must have a Valid driver’s license
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
