Diesel Maintenance Specialty Limited (DMS Ltd.), is a division of Gene Frederickson Trucking and Excavating. We are a full service diesel repair shop. Along with heavy emphasis on preventative maintenance, we perform every aspect of repair on our own vehicles as well as outside customer vehicles. A position with us means working on a wide variety of equipment and almost every make and model. We utilize the latest OEM software, including; Cummins Insite & Quickserve, DL8, NED, International Service MAXX, Davie 4 and ESA for Paccar, Premium Tech Tool for Mack, CAT ET, Bendix, Wabco, Allison, and more.
$4 PER HOUR DIFFERENTIAL PAY FOR 2nd SHIFT EMPLOYEES
We are looking for full time employees for 2nd shift in our heavy truck & trailer shop. 2nd shift runs from approximately 2 PM to 10 PM Mon- Fri with some flexibility. Overtime starts at 40 hours and pays time and a half. Overtime is generally available up to 50 hours, but not expected. Employees must possess the ability to work independently and as a team. Employee must have own basic tools. We are looking for people who may be just starting out in their diesel career who are very willing to learn and also, the very experienced who are looking to advance themselves and continue growing and getting experience on a wide variety of equipment.
High School Diploma, Technical/Associates degree in Diesel Technology, DOT and Air Brake Certifications, CDL, ASE Certifications, HVAC Certifications, and knowledge with hydraulics will all benefit you, but are not required. Wages will be based off of education, certifications achieved, and experience. Self promotion and wage increases attained by gaining ASE Certifications and meeting other goals. If you are currently attending Technical College, all of these things will be taken into consideration to compensate pay. Ability to communicate between technicians and supervisors is key. Cleanliness and organizational skills are mandatory.
A tuition reimbursement plan is available to those currently enrolled in the Diesel Technology course at FVTC, provided they maintain a full time 40 hour work week and good grades. Technicians will be required to be apart of rotating on call schedule (typically once every month- month and a half.
