NOW HIRING: HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL TRUCK & TRAILER MECHANIC
Ludwig & Sons Trucking LLC is looking for a full-time Heavy-Duty Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Fond du Lac, WI.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working on a variety of semi-trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, air, brake, and suspension systems
- Repair and maintain semi-trailers
- Perform general shop and fleet maintenance
- Keep accurate records of repairs and services
- Help keep our equipment safe, reliable, and on the road
What We’re Looking For:
- Heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL is a plus, but not required
