Position Summary
The Saw Operator / Material Handler is responsible for cutting raw material to specification, maintaining inventory accuracy within the ERP system, and supporting production operations. This role also includes operating secondary equipment such as chamfering machines and tube benders as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate saw equipment to accurately cut raw material to production specifications
- Manage and maintain material inventory within the ERP system
- Load, unload, and move raw materials throughout the facility
- Operate chamfering equipment to prepare tubes for production
- Operate tube bending equipment when primary saw duties are complete
- Verify material dimensions and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Assist other departments as needed to support production goals
