Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, including pediatric population.
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, exercises, and techniques to support ongoing progress at home.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized therapy environment conducive to effective treatment.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in clinical or educational settings.
- Prior school experience or pediatric caseload management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in speech therapy techniques for diverse communication disorders.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
- Experience conducting patient assessments with proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with early intervention programs and strategies for young children requiring developmental support.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a compassionate approach toward patients of all ages.
