We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services to clients with speech, language, and communication disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to children and/or adults.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the SLP.
- Conduct speech-language screenings and document client progress.
- Prepare therapy materials and keep accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Provide support in clinical settings.
- Educate clients and families about therapy techniques and home exercises.
- Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Current certification/licensure as an SLPA (if required by state).
- Previous experience in speech-language pathology (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Spanish a plus but not required.
