Speech Tactics is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients, possess a passion for growth, and find purpose in serving children... PERIOD. The qualified candidate will be able to assess and diagnose a wide range of conditions, as well as develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on medical necessity.
Responsibilities:
- 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but not required
- Opportunities for COTA supervision w/ Bonus Pay
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinical setting
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.
- Develop home programs and provide parent education/coaching
- Collaborate with OT, ST, PT, ABA, PYSCH, and parents/caregivers
- Evaluate and assess patients' needs and abilities on an ongoing basis
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and revise plans accordingly and as needed
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve the patient's quality of life
- Instruct patients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques, as needed
- Provide education to families and caregivers on how to support the patient's progress.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC OTR
- Spanish fluency is a PLUS
- NC License and AOTA Certification
- At least (2) years of pediatric experience preferred, but NOT required
- Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS
- Excellent Communication skills
Salary : $65,000 - $105,000
