Senior Human Resources Generalist
SPG is seeking a skilled and people-focused Senior Human Resources Generalist to support employee experience, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations across our growing organization.
This role partners closely with leadership to support both current and future workforce needs while helping build a strong, compliant, and engaged team across multiple clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to support HR and talent strategy, including staffing needs, retention, and workforce planning.
Support recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including job postings, interviewing coordination, hiring support, and collaboration with department leaders on role requirements.
Oversee and support the Recruiter and daily recruitment workflow.
Manage onboarding, orientation, and overall new hire experience to ensure a strong employee start and engagement.
Responsible for managing FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation cases to ensure compliance with applicable laws and provide support to employees throughout the process.
Support employee relations, conflict resolution, grievances, and sensitive workplace issues in partnership with leadership.
Guide and support corrective action processes, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and termination documentation.
Assist managers with performance review cycles and employee evaluation documentation.
Facilitate employee benefits enrollment and support related to medical, dental, retirement, and ancillary benefits.
Analyze HR trends related to retention, turnover, compensation, and benefits; provide recommendations to support employee attraction and retention
Maintain HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, policies, and best practices.
Support internal learning and development initiatives and employee growth opportunities.
Maintain HR systems, personnel records, and credentialing/licensure tracking
Serve as a primary HR resource for employee concerns, benefits questions, and employment-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
3–5 years of HR experience preferred (healthcare or clinical setting strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, and compliance requirements
Experience in employee relations, corrective action, and performance management support
Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems (or ability to learn quickly)
