Overview
Speech Kids NY is currently hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) for school-based opportunities in Howard County, Maryland for the 2026–2027 school year.
We are seeking passionate professionals to support students in public school settings by delivering high-quality speech and language services while collaborating with school teams to help students achieve their communication goals.
This is an in-person position with flexible scheduling based on school placement needs.
What You'll Do
• Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete evaluations and contribute to assessment reports
• Maintain accurate and timely session documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families
• Support students' communication development in a structured school environment
Compensation & Schedule
Compensation (W-2 Fee-for-Service):
• Licensed SLPs: $75/hour
• CFs: $60/hour
Schedule:
• 7.5-hour workday
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Flexible scheduling based on assignment needs
• Paid documentation time

Placements are available across elementary and middle school programs throughout Howard County for the 2026–2027 school year.
Available schedules may include:
• Full-time opportunities (5 days/week)

Specific school placements and schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for CF supervision for Clinical Fellows)
• CCC-SLP certification required for licensed SLP positions
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to travel to assigned school locations within Howard County
