An educational organization based in McLean VA is hiring for a Lead Financial (FP&A) Analyst to support Corporate/Shared Services. Hybrid work situation - 4 days/week in office. Position reports to VP of Finance. Target salary can range from $120-$150k depending on relevant experience.
Duties:
- Lead budgeting/forecasting processes, identifying KPI's and risk management activities
- Manage full P&L statement to include analysis of specific cost or revenue drivers
- Prepare and analyze periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial results versus budget, including prior periods
- Support financial modeling for new business opportunities
- Own quantitative data to assist with creating meaningful reports to drive sound business strategic decision making
- Manage complex balance sheet reconciliations
Keys:
- BA/BS degree in Economics or Finance
- 6 years of financial analysis experience, including performing financial statement analysis and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency with BI360, Adaptive
- Strong and refined communication and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate successfully with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to commute to Tysons Corner Monday through Thursday
