Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the full lifecycle administration of federal government contracts and related agreements. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, customers, subcontractors, and teaming partners to ensure contractual compliance, mitigate risk, and support business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of government contracting regulations, contract administration best practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage federal government contracts throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from proposal support through closeout.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, prime contractors, and subcontractors regarding contractual matters.
- Review, analyze, and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and protect organizational interests.
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, funding, periods of performance, modifications, and other contractual requirements.
- Provide guidance to program management, finance, security, and operational teams regarding contractual obligations, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), subcontracts, and other contractual documents.
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, schedules, and business provisions with customers, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
- Support proposal and capture efforts through solicitation reviews, compliance assessments, teaming coordination, and proposal reviews.
- Coordinate and submit solicitation questions, proposal packages, customer data calls, and other contractual deliverables in both prime and subcontractor capacities.
- Maintain contract records and documentation within contract management systems, including Deltek Costpoint.
- Conduct contract kickoff meetings and provide contract briefings to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Monitor contract changes and determine when modifications, amendments, extensions, or other contractual actions are required.
- Evaluate customer requests and identify potential out-of-scope work requiring contractual action.
- Support subcontract management activities, including monitoring subcontractor performance and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve contractual issues, disputes, claims, and customer concerns through fact gathering and analysis.
- Assist with maintenance of federal procurement registrations and systems, including the System for Award Management (SAM).
- Prepare reports, analyses, and contractual summaries for leadership and executive management.
- Support contract closeout activities and ensure all contractual obligations have been satisfied.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience administering federal government contracts in a government contractor environment.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related government contracting regulations.
- Experience supporting a variety of contract types, including IDIQ, task order, and GSA Schedule contracts.
- Ability to independently manage moderate to complex contractual matters and develop practical business solutions.
- Experience negotiating and administering subcontracts, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar contract management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
