Major Job Tasks:
- Create an enthusiastic atmosphere, motivating employees by example and through creative incentive programs.
- Provide on-the-job training for all new reservationists in every aspect of reservations as well as Spectrum Resorts’ vision, mission, and values.
- Schedule staff according to demand while keeping the budget in mind.
- On-site expert with everything affiliated with Navis which includes reports, protocol, and procedures.
- Attend weekly meetings with Director of Revenue Management to evaluate progress and performance.
- Monitor progress and productivity of all reservations staff.
- Score lead calls and perform coaching sessions with reservationists on a weekly basis to improve sales skills and customer service.
- Clearly communicate departmental goals and progress to reservation staff.
- Update daily checklist when needed and insure completion of check-list items.
- Maintain professional manner and appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as required to meet company and departmental goals.
- Assist in identifying where improvements are needed interdepartmentally and formulate plans to implement such improvements.
- Accountable for effective application of reservations procedures, enforcement of departmental policies, and ability to reach departmental goals.
