Job Title: Events Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Administrative Assistant
Status: Part-time, hourly or salaried (depending upon whether it is combined with another position to bring it to full-time status)
Compensation: Dependent on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
The Events Coordinator works closely with school leadership and staff to oversee all aspects of event planning and management for the following school-wide events: Open House (August), Conferences (fall and winter/spring), Veterans Day Program (November), Choir and Band Programs (winter and spring) including the NHS/NJHS Ceremony, and Graduation (May). Other programs may be added as needed.

Education And Experience
- High school diploma required and 2 or 4 year degree preferred
- Two to four years related job experience and/or training beneficial
- Ability to work independently and/or with teams and partners
- Experience or proven skill in coordinating large-scale events
- Familiarity with or ability to learn event registration software
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Marketing experience beneficial
- Friendly and likes to meet new people
- Ability to count, track money, and balance an account
- Ability to take initiative
- General understanding of Spectrum's programs and strengths
