What You’ll Do
- Provide supportive, clinically appropriate counseling to individuals in need
- Conduct assessments and assist in developing and updating treatment plans (under supervision)
- Document care using DIAP format with clarity and accuracy
- Coordinate care with internal teams, physicians, and community resources
- Deliver services with cultural competence, respect, and professionalism
- Uphold all policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation guidelines
- Maintain excellent customer service in every interaction
What You Bring
To qualify as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you must meet one of the following:
- High school diploma 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Bachelor’s degree (any field) 1 year of behavioral health experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field
- Completion of a Behavioral Health Technician training program
- Master’s degree in a human services-related field (not licensed)
Preferred: At least 1 year of behavioral health experience
