Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Group Home Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure that all residents are clean, well fed, and provide for at all times. This includes toileting/bathing, dressing/ grooming, cooking, feeding and laundry work as needed.
Shift: Wednesday to Sunday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide direct care staff to ensure quality care and compliance with all protocols.
- Provide hands-on care and daily support to residents with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the home environment.
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere that encourages resident engagement and well-being.
Qualifications
- Valid (non-probationary) NJ or NY driver’s license (driving is required).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year direct care experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred (1 year).
