Spectrum for Living is a New Jersey not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities reach their maximum potential. We provide quality residential, clinical, and community-based services in state-of-the-art facilities and homes.
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Shifts Available:
Full- and part-time hourly: $20.95 Plus Benefits.
Per Diem: $22.00 Hourly - no health insurance benefits.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals, including assistance with toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, and laundry.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, feeding, and cleanup.
- Transport residents to medical appointments and community activities using a company vehicle.
- Communicate important information regarding individuals' care and daily activities.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
- Help orient and integrate new staff members into daily routines and activities.
- Use basic computer skills to document services, maintain records, and communicate information.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid non-probationary NJ or NY driver's license required.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Criminal Background
