POSITION SUMMARY
The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is the primary outside-facing representative for Spectrum Custom Packaging, responsible for engaging with prospective and existing customers to drive revenue growth and support customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive sales approach, as well as the ability to understand customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. As an outside sales representative, the PAM will manage inquiries, submit Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for CAD (RFCs), and present proposals to clients, ensuring smooth communication and a high level of service throughout the sales and project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting long-term customer success.

OBJECTIVES
- Prospecting and Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and outreach efforts. Qualify leads and conduct impactful sales presentations to introduce Spectrum’s offerings.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries, order updates, and project information.
- Client Needs Analysis: Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and offer tailored product and service recommendations to support customer objectives.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare and deliver sales proposals, pricing estimates, and project outlines to customers and prospects, facilitating contract negotiations to close sales effectively.
- Coordination with Internal Teams: Submit and manage internal RFQs and RFCs in collaboration with the Project Manager (PM), production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery.
- Customer Satisfaction and Follow-Up: Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and provide support throughout the sales and project fulfillment process.
- Market Awareness and Strategic Sales Planning: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify strategic sales opportunities and adjust approaches as needed.
- Sales Metrics and Performance Tracking: Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities to improve sales strategies and performance.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Monitor customer accounts to identify opportunities for re-orders, upselling, and cross-selling of additional products and services that meet evolving client needs.
- Event Representation: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent Spectrum Custom Packaging, expand business contacts, and keep updated on market developments.
- CRM and Documentation Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in the CRM system, including client details, orders, contracts, and correspondence.
- Continuous Development: Participate in ongoing sales training and development programs to enhance product knowledge, technical skills, and sales techniques.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in outside sales or account management, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and growing client accounts.
- Experience with CRM software and familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel to client sites, trade shows, and other events as required (up to 50% of the time).
- Extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and making phone calls.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of product samples or marketing materials (up to 25 lbs).
