Job Description
- Responsible for performing technical logistical management in the areas of inventory, shipping, sorting, loading/unloading, destination, material recording and delivery to customer.
- Disposition efforts including obtaining and maintaining ETIDS and eRMS access and screen material for proper disposition.
- provide guidance to contractor’s supply technicians, material coordinators, warehouse specialists, and shipping/receiving clerks.
- Should have knowledge or expertise with ERP/SAP Warehouse Management.
- adherence to SOPs and governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
- The Senior Logistician enters data into Navy ERP for accountability; performs inventory audits and provides subsequent inventory and metrics reports
- They ensure attachment of tags, labels and/or markings to materials
- documents all errors related to orders shipped and received and files claims with manufacturers for defective goods
- monitors through completion shipping documents such as Commercial and Government Bills of Lading
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
- Related Naval or DoD Supply Chain/Logistics experience
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills
