Position Title: Machine Operator I

Work Location: Londonderry, NH 03053

Assignment Duration: 8 months

Work Schedule: 1st shift, 7am – 3:30pm

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions. An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area. He and or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.

Background & Context:

Entry-level manufacturing support role focused on equipment monitoring, material handling support, labeling, cleanliness, and compliance in a regulated production environment. Training conducted on 1st shift (typically one week). Overtime expected. Temp-to-hire path possible based on business need, budget, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks

• Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required

• Support material handling as necessary

• Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers

• Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition

• Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules

• Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above

• Accept full accountability for product quality

• Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday

• Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation

• Ensure the smooth operation of the production line (candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line)

• Support material handling as necessary (does not require use of forklift or power jack)

Qualification & Experience:

• Required education: High school graduate or equivalent

• At least 1 year manufacturing experience MANDATORY

• Basic computer skills required for training purposes

• Ability to stand to package and label product

• Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 30 pounds

• Must be able to adhere to shift start times with excellent attendance and punctuality

• Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals

• Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for packaging and labeling.

• Lifting/moving and carrying up to 30 pounds.

• Closed production line; no physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.

• Safety glasses, hair nets, and gloves provided; candidate supplies steel or composite shoes/boots.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality required. Overtime expected.

Additional Information:

Interview process is in-person onsite (facility tour included). No steel-toe shoes required for the interview. Training typically lasts one week on 1st shift. Strong emphasis on longevity, team fit, English communication, and professional presentation.
