Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Commerce Lead / Solution Architect to lead the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions across global retail and e-commerce environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with D365 Commerce, including e-commerce storefronts, POS, call center, and omnichannel operations, along with deep integration knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). This role requires expertise in delivering scalable B2B and B2C commerce solutions for global organizations operating across the United States and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design workshops, and business process mapping for D365 Commerce implementations.
- Configure and deploy Dynamics 365 Commerce components including:
- Commerce HQ
- Site Builder
- Product Catalogs
- Assortments
- Channels
- Loyalty Programs
- Pricing and Promotions
- B2B Commerce Hierarchies
- Design and implement omnichannel retail solutions across:
- E-commerce
- Store Commerce / POS
- Call Center
- Order Management
- Returns and Exchanges
- Integrate D365 Commerce with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) for inventory, sales orders, procurement, and finance processes.
- Work with Dual-write, APIs, Commerce Scale Units (CSU), and third-party integrations including payment gateways, shipping carriers, and external platforms.
- Support US sales tax requirements, Indian GST localization, e-invoicing, and multi-company operations.
- Lead data migration activities for products, customers, pricing, inventory, and order data.
- Support UAT, performance testing, go-live planning, and post-production hypercare.
- Collaborate with technical teams on custom extensions, checkout flows, and integration architecture.
- Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to pre-sales activities, RFP responses, and solution estimations.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP and retail commerce implementations.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce.
- Experience delivering multiple end-to-end D365 Commerce implementations.
