What are the responsibilities and job description for the Q Cleared - Construction Engineer 3 position at Spectra Tech, Inc.?
Performs routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Requires a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices and the exercise of professional judgment within the framework of established guidelines. May have leadership responsibility for less experienced construction engineers. May be specializing in a single field or area, or assuming a lead role in a specific segment of a construction project.
Position typically requires a bachelor s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in engineering disciplines, and 15 years actual work experience and certifications leading to the thorough understanding of the knowledge described above or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be desired.
Software knowledge requirements - Fluent in MS365 or office based products (excel, PP, word, outlook), MSTeams is essential, some internal tools that they will need to be able to pick up.
Must be able to work with multiple people across the install groups and various leaders, outward focused, skilled problem solver.
NQA-1 experience is a plus.
Experience in electrical background; glovebox systems would be a huge plus, manufacturing familiarity would be a plus.
Q Clearance Required.
