Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Maintenance Manager for a food manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN!
Essential Job Functions- Lead the maintenance team to achieve world-class status through continuous improvement, loss reduction, and budget goals
- Mentor and coach maintenance leaders to drive results
- Manage outside contractors and respond to emergencies as needed
- Consistently model safe behaviors
- Manage and meet deadlines; develop and track maintenance plans
- Mentor department associates toward developmental goals
- Collaborate with Site Maintenance Manager and Finance team to develop, track, and manage budgets
- Support capital spending plans, facilitate project planning, and confirm project completion
- Manage work orders: creation, planning, updates, and closure
- Track and present facility KPIs; interpret data and recommend actions
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs
- Oversee asset management, work planning, and spare parts inventory
- Support audits and help create effective work plans
- Act as backup to Site Maintenance Manager as needed
- Lead chronic issue resolution and failure analysis efforts
- Maintain department staffing levels
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, operations, or related field
- Must be bilingual in Spanish & English
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a maintenance environment, preferably in food manufacturing
- Expertise in thermal food processes: Retort, Canning, Ready to Serve, Ready to Eat Foods, and robotic systems
- Previous leadership experience in a team-oriented setting
