Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer III
Responsibilities include:
Using discretion and independent judgment
Nuclear Safety Engineers are responsible for creation of Nuclear Crit Safety Documents, which comply with 10 CFR 830, DOE Standards and procedures.
Develop and maintain NCS documents.
Interface with management and operations to resolve nuclear and criticality safety issues.
Daily to weekly written and verbal communication with operations, engineering staff, management and DOE staff.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of which at least four must directly relate to the required area of expertise.
Experience supporting the development, maintenance, or implementation of safety basis documentation is required.
