What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Manager position at Spectra Tech, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Expand existing contracts profitably within a year.
- Assume lead for environmental remediation and decommissioning work at select existing client sites within 12 months of starting. This includes contract management, daily staff management, subcontractor management, and growth.
- Support proposal efforts for the Technical Services division in the areas of environmental remediation, waste management, and/or decommissioning nationwide and lead efforts for select existing clients.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows relating to select clients or location.
- Implement stakeholder and partnership engagement strategies (DOE, DOD, USACE, NNSA and others).
Qualifications we require:
- Must have 15 years of progressive technical experience in the nuclear industry. This can range from waste management, decommissioning, radiation protection, and/or health and safety to name a few.
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. No substitution for experience.
- Experience with proposal development, cost development, client relationship building, and business to business relations.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
Qualifications we desire:
- Current or recent DOE client relationships
- Current working experience with the US Army Corp of Engineers
- International radiological decommissioning experience
- DOE Q or L or DOD TS or S clearance
- Master's degree
