We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a full-time, on-site role located in Rochester, NY. The Pharmacy Technician will assist in fulfilling prescriptions, managing pharmacy inventory, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Daily responsibilities include accurately preparing medications, ensuring timely order processing, managing stock levels, and assisting pharmacists in various tasks essential to pharmacy operations.
- Proficiency in Prescription filling and handling, with a strong understanding of related processes.
- Knowledge of Pharmacy operations and familiarity with the role of Pharmacy Technicians, including adherence to regulatory standards.
- Experience in Inventory Control, including organizing and maintaining medication stock levels efficiently.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred but not mandatory; state requirements must be fulfilled.
- Previous experience in a long-term care pharmacy is a plus.
