Responsibilities
- Assist the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor and Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions.
- Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room.
- Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
- Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
- Package fill and ship medications.
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
- Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
- Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
- Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
- Basic Math and computer skills.
- Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
- Ability to physically perform light lifting.
- 2:30pm - 11:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays
