Pharmacy Technician/ADS Requirements
- Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor
- Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email
- Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports
- Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)
- Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
- Replace potentially expiring inventory
- Restock depleted inventory
- Pull and pack medications for daily routes
- Code controlled substances, when applicable
- Monthly audits (cycle count)
- Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Pharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications
- NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration Required, in process or willing to obtain after hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle
- Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times
- Ability to physically perform light lifting
- Willing to drive long distances in the tri-state Regions ( NJ, NY, PA and CT.
