Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and experienced Head Pharmacy Technician to oversee our day-to-day pharmacy operations and lead our staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all pharmacy/store staff
- Ensure daily operations and workflow run smoothly
- Answer phones and assist patients with questions and concerns
- Handle and resolve patient complaints professionally
- Communicate with doctors' offices, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
- Assist with insurance issues, claims, and prior authorizations
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and payroll
- Address staff performance and operational issues
- Maintain a professional and positive work environment
- Ensure company policies and pharmacy procedures are followed
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy, healthcare, office management, or supervisory experience preferred
- Spanish-speaking required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing staff and handling difficult situations
- Experience with payroll and insurance preferred
- Must be dependable, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
