Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. This full-time position offers flexibility in scheduling, with or without call responsibility. Case types will vary based on facility needs. You would have the opportunity to work in a major trauma center and/or two outpatient surgical hospitals. One of which was recognized as a center of Excellence in Anesthesia!
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across various surgical specialties
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthetic plans
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period and respond to any complications
- Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and other team members as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Uphold high standards for patient safety, ethics, and clinical excellence
- Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education

- Trauma
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- GI Procedures
- ENT
- Outpatient Procedures
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active and unrestricted Louisiana Medical License
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Current DEA/Narcotic License
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
