Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental exams diagnoses and treatment planning for pediatric patients
Provide preventive and restorative dental care in a patient friendly environment
Perform procedures including extractions pulp therapy root canals and minor oral surgery
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records using dental software
Follow HIPAA and infection control protocols at all times
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active dental license pediatric experience preferred
Experience in pediatric or general dentistry is highly preferred
Proficiency with Dentrix Eaglesoft or Epic
Strong knowledge of pediatric dental care anatomy and medical imaging
Understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Skills
Experience treating pediatric patients in a clinical setting
Ability to perform restorative and surgical procedures independently
Strong chairside presence with children and families
