Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is a well-established and reputable Pediatric Dental & Orthodontic practice in Scottsdale that has been serving The Valley for nearly 40 years. As a concierge practice, we are dedicated to delivering personalized experiences for the youngest of pediatric dental patients to adults ready to start their orthodontic journey! Position Overview: As the “Patient Relations” Coordinator at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic and dental care.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Engagement:

• Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
• Assist patients with check-in, gather necessary paperwork, and verify insurance information accurately.
• Maintain a calm and friendly presence, helping patients feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.
  
  

Administrative Support

• Perform essential administrative tasks, including scanning documents, updating records, and preparing patient files for the following day.
• Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and presentable to enhance the patient experience.
  
  

Schedule Management

• Manage patient flow throughout the day.
• Adapt to any unique needs or requests to accommodate patients and families, providing flexibility and understanding.
  
  

Patient Education Support

• Provide basic information to patients and families about the dental visit process, addressing questions about routine treatments and procedures.
  
  

Problem Solving

• Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by patients, providing a positive resolution experience with empathy and professionalism.

No Dental Experience? No problem!

We provide on-the-job training for all the skills needed! This is a great entry level position to start in the dental field!

Salary Description

$18-$20 hourly
